Home and amenities not maintained. Amenities listed weren't there. No desk chair, no iron, no coffee pot, no toaster. Very few table setting dishes, utensils, serving dishes, coffee mugs. For a home that advertises it sleeps 7 it seems very poorly managed to have 3 coffee mugs, 3 plates, 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for 4 days and one roll of paper towels. Also, not one hand towel in bathrooms, no wash cloths, and no bar soap in either bathroom.There was a water softener system but it wasn't working and neither was the RO system at kitchen sink. The refrigerator had an ice maker that wasn't working. It didn't appear to be hooked up. The house was in okay working order but needed maintenance as did the deck which was nothing but a liability. Boards were warped so badly it was dangerous. Toilet in primary bath leaked at the base. Back door leaked after the rain. Thank goodness there were 6 bathtowels because we had to use 3 of them to soak up water. Hostess eventually answered our messages and calls after our disappointing check-in and agreed to bring us a toaster, coffee pot, a roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper, and 2 bars of bathsoap. She had it delivered within the hour. It's just common sense to me that if someone gives you a bad review regarding lack of amenities perhaps you should correct the issue. She obviously cares for her guests the same way she cares for her home, or not. We took many pics which I will not likely post unless I need to.
