“The castle and surrounding area are stunning with breath-taking views and sunsets. The villa was lovely, if not a little rustic, but it was what we expected from the photos. We ate on property two of our four nights, the wait staff were not the most welcoming and did not offer the charm of the surroundings. ”

“Cabbiavoli was the gathering place for our two week celebration with family and friends for my husband’s retirement. We were within an hour of every place we wanted to visit (Florence, Siena, Piza, Volterra) and even got to do the Cinque Terre hike, albeit a long day but so worth the two hour drive time! The train being so close made all excursions possible. Wineries are very close and within driving distance. Cabbiavoli itself is loaded with history and its grounds and views are breathtaking....

“The facility is very old but well worth the stay in a 800 year old plus castle. The restaurant service delicious meal and the whole staff are very friendly and helpful. If you don’t stay here you will miss a great opportunity to stay in such a historical place”

“The Castle and surroundings are stunning. The property is right next to the castle and a short walk to the pool. It had everything we needed for our 3 days whist we explored the cities of Florence, Pisa and Siena, all a short car journey away. Because of the location you definitely needed a car. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Beautiful place.”

“It is a very beautiful castle with lovely scenic views. We were there in June. The rooms were very spacious and nice. It is very accessible to other towns in Tuscany. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. The only problem we had was the mosquitoes. We had our windows shut throughout the nights although a few managed to come through..otherwise everything else was great!”
