“A true castle in a lovely setting. Clean, spacious and quiet room. Only reopened since March 1st the kitchen is still spinning up, but we had a lovely dinner and breakfast. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It is a castle, so be prepared for a little climb to the entrance. ”

“We have had a fabulous stay with Mirella in Tavernelle, beautiful village situated in the mountains. We all enjoyed the dinners she served and her hospitality to our whole family, we were seventeen celebrating grandpa, 80 years in this unique palazzo with the best comfort. “Friendly and helpful staff. Kitchenette only really suitable for breakfast. Pool area very nice but there are lots and lots of mosquitos in an around the hotel. Ok but 3 nights was enough due to mosquitos.”

“In lieu of a wedding, we rented the castle for a long weekend family vacation. It was incredible! We had 14 people and all fit comfortably in the rooms. There are many common spaces. Giovanni recommend a wonderful private chef who we used for dinners and breakfasts. Taxis need to be booked far in advance or rent a few cars to get around. In Tuscany taxis tend to book out quickly. “Il n’est mentionné nulle part que le propriétaire habite toute la partie du donjon . La cuisine est belle mais mal équipée pour cuisiner pour un groupe de 12 personnes. Les couteaux ne coupent pas, pas de bouilloire, 2 casseroles en tout et pour tout …et peu d’accessoires de cuisine . Il faut ressortir dehors pour accéder aux 8 chambres qui sont situées au 2 ieme étage L’eau chaude n’a fonctionné qu’à partir du 5 ieme jour comme il faut dans les chambres.
