“If you’re looking for a quiet place a long way away from the touristy towns by the ocean - this is it. And the small village of Caltavuturo is charming, after only a few days everyone knows the foreigners and you get that extra treat at the bakery or vegetable stand! The house itself is beautiful and the veranda and pool area superb. Any problem that occured, our hosts took care of right away. ”

“We spend a wonderful two weeks in this lovely house. Carmelo could be contacted anytime and was very helpful.The house is off main roads and very quiet, exactly what we wanted. We seldom found a cleaner house. Most of the windows had working insect protection. Air condition worked well in the bedrooms and the rest of the house stayed cool if you close the shades. The furnature isn't the newest one but works fine. We made the mistake of leaving a still warm Pizza slice on the countertop and...

“The apartment was modern, large and very well equipped. Angelo and his family were very gracious and always available to help. They even brought over some of the best pastries I have ever tasted! I can't say enough nice things about my stay, except I forgot to mention the views of the valley and the Mediterranean Sea were fabulous.”

“Beautiful property but many millipedes everywhere, water off several times, dogs barking every night, nosy owner who came by daily and we had to pay for electricity used for time there. We have rented many times from HomeAway but never was charged for electricity. We did get deposit refunded the day we left minus charge for electricity. Besides the above we did enjoy our stay there.”
