“It was a lovely and comfortable stay with a very luxe bed and A/C that worked great!”

“The location was excellent! It is right on the beach. The windows were difficult to see thru, probably a result of the harsh ocean environment. There was a hand written sign on the screen, ‘Do not open’. It would be nice to open the screen to get a clear unobstructed view of the ocean. The curtains on the front of the unit were secured with clips, but several were broken, so they looked a little tacky. The host was great to work with and answered our questions before we arrived and helped us...

“Really nice place and location. Rental is well done and kept very nice. Only negative to be aware of is that parking is shared with other units so parking in front of the rental is not always available. But we never had too much trouble finding parking on the street nearby.”

“There was no air conditioning and the property is directly across from a noisy bar, so you can choose to have all the windows closed and be hot or open the windows and be unable to sleep. The beds were futons with no sheets. The kitchen table and chairs were patio furniture. The sense of the place is the host putting in the bare minimum effort. It was a very disappointing experience and I recommend people instead stay at one of the many other places in the area.”

It was so close to the beach and the Belmont area, which made it easy to walk everywhere without having to use our car.One thing that caught us by surprise was that we didn’t see anywhere in the listing that mentioned there was no air conditioning, so we weren’t expecting that.The listing does mention that the garage is small, but even with our small car, we weren’t able to fit it inside.Before our stay, I asked about a high chair after the host...

“Go for the location alone! The patio is right on Mission Beach, directly on the boardwalk, and the views are fantastic. There’s also a wall A/C unit in the upstairs bedroom, which was a nice bonus if you want a cool place to relax or sleep after a day at the beach.”

“Great walking along the beach sidewalks for miles going both directions. We also rode bikes there. Great people watching here :-)”

“Condo was very clean and only steps to the beach and several good places to eat. Michael, our host, was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again! Check-in super easy.”

“We enjoyed our stay, however for large parties we could have used extra toilet paper, and extra trash bag liners. The mini-split in master bedroom made an awful noise all night long could not figure after I turned it off why it was still making a loud noise. But overall we enjoyed our stay”
