The Orca Inn is not fancy. If you want luxury then book a luxury hotel (and pay luxury rates). The Orca Inn may not be fancy but it is fun, clean, quirky, and the staff are friendly and responsive. It’s not on the waterfront but it’s a pretty easy walk to get there. Maybe 15 minutes?

“This location was PERFECT for our bike riding group - we made it our home base for a week of riding several islands. Easy 4-5 miles to the ferry. Safe parking for our vehicles and bikes when not in use. Good food and great service at the restaurant. Front desk assistance was spectacular, and they have a fun gift shop. Rooms were comfortable and the flowers were in bloom and everywhere! We'll be back for sure! ”
“It was especially nice to find that the Trumpeter Inn is on a large property that includes a pasture inhabited by friendly goats and alpacas that eat from your hand (food packets provided by our hosts!), outside sitting areas in lovely flower gardens, and ample room inside to meet, sit, and chat with other guests.”

“This place is cute and quaint, and the location is perfect - walkable to everything in the main "village" area. The rooms are unique (I peaked inside a few) and homey, and there are many lovely common areas such as outdoor seating and a wraparound porch. It was calm and quiet despite being fully booked, and when we did run into other guests it felt like we were all friends staying together. ”
