“The Orca Inn is a good budget option when staying in Friday Harbour. If you are looking for luxary accommodation this place might not be for you. Interior is somewhat rustic and dated but it was extremely clean, room had a cabin like feel. Fridge and microwave were in room. Parking was also included.”

As a hobby photographer, watching the light on the water and hillsides was mesmerizing. Eagles can be seen soaring nearby, many other birds darting through the trees. “Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location.”
