The room was filthy with soda bottles and other trash on the floor and food remains from previous guests in the window. The registration attendant said that all villas in the signature line were occupied. They offered me a room in the other side of the property which was not ocean view and we would not have access to the infinity pool or all the other amenities that the signature suites have. “The property is quite dated. The room had a musty smell. The room looked clean but didn’t smell clean. The bathroom door did not stay closed. There was a hand towel screwed to the frame to help keep the door closed but it was to no avail.”

“Terrible breakfast. The milk was in containers that looked dirty, so we didn't want to take any. The breakfast was very poor. For a hotel near Freeport Beach, they really ought to pay more attention to these details—especially since the one in Galveston seems better.”

We tried getting ahold of the owner the first day about it and we ended up ultimately having to leave and rent something else. The owners still have not responded to our request for a refund.
