“Though we enjoyed our holiday at Olive it was a struggle for my wife who is disabled as the bed was particularly low and the stairs are steep. We would also recommend the owner completes the path from the house to the drive as walking over the grass after rain particularly in the dark was unpleasant. It would also be preferable to add a parking space alongside garden gate.”

“A well presented, well equipped and clean cottage. The owner was very helpful. A good base for exploring the area. Lovely place for eating at Church Minshull, The Badger Inn which also has electric car chargers.”

“Just got back yesterday from Riverview Cottage. Just lovely! Very comfortable and clean, it had everything that we needed. Pub across the road, garden to sit in with lovely trees to look at. Near the Manifold and Tissington trails for walking and cycling. We had a lovely time and were sad to leave.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was absolutely spotless which was a great asset as we have stayed in things similar before and they have been dusty and unclean. We spoke to the man and the woman and both were lovely. The Little bottle of milk, shampoo, body wash, washing up liquid etc were a wonderful touch. Like other reviews a coffee table would be nice. Only thing I would let others know is the parking is very tight. We nearly came in our VW van and I'm glad we didn't as we wouldn't...

“Lovely little property with beautiful surrounding farms and scenery. Good facilities and a great shower. Kitchen was very well equipped. Second room was far too small for our 15 year old ... would be fine for a toddler. Great location for nearby attraction. If you want to enjoy and sit outside in the garden/gravel drive area you’ll need some furniture. ”

“Everything about this property was great. There were a few minor issues. One was the metal strip keeping down the carpet leading to the small bedroom had some screws sticking up. We threw a towel over it and moved on. Had we reported it I’m sure it would have been taken care of. Also, would have liked a place to set our toiletries in the bathroom. Some sort of shelf. The decor was nice and everything was clean. Would reccomend this place.”
