4/5Very Good! (34 recensioner)
Like other has said, it’s a bit tricky to find but just check a map before and it’s not that hard. You will enter a port from the street, in to a backyard and it’s the third door on the right hand side. Just press the bell and the door will open. Then it’s on the 4th floor, don’t be scared of the old stairs - the hotel looks so much nicer.
Ring the bell, enter the door and take left to the reception. We got a great welcoming even though the English wasn’t that good. You have to pay 150 Rubels each in registration fee, that is just how it is. You will then get a paper telling where you have been living during your stay in Russia if border control asks.
We got a nice room, clean, fresh and good facilities. WiFi was really good as well.
It’s a quite small breakfast area but good breakfast. Butter, cheese and jam to sandwiches - then one day we got omelet, sausage and oatmeal. The other day it was fried egg, sausage and panncakes. It’s also fresh fruit, coffee, cereals, milk and yoghurt. Nice!
The walls are a bit thin so if you have problems with notice it’s a good thing to bring earplugs.
The location is splendid!! 50 meters from metro (Mayakovskaya/Ploschad Vosstaniya) and just the same to Nevsky prospect. The galleria is just behind the hotel and you have a lot of restaurants and shops - just take left up on Nevsky prospect.
We had a great experience in St Petersburg and you will get good value for your money!
