Newly remodeled Beach Cottage with hot tub located just 2 blocks from the sand! This adorable 1 bed/1bath private home boasts incredible outdoor spaces with jacuzzi and sauna. Located just .2 miles (5 minutes walking distance) from Leadbetter Beach & Shoreline Park. Enjoy the expansive private deck w/ outdoor dining, smart TV's, abundant amenities, & the newly remodeled kitchen with 36" Viking Range. Located just minutes to trails, wine tasting & downtown Santa Barbara. Pet friendly ($199 pet fee). Perfect coastal get-away!

THE SPACE

Tucked between Downtown Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean in the most charming of locations, you’ll find endless reasons to love this adorable Beach cottage! An incredible remodel was just completed last year with no details overlooked!
The spacious living room boasts new floors, new dual pane windows, a sleeper sofa and a 55” smart TV with Netflix & YouTube Live TV. Queen-sized sofa bed in living room can sleep an additional person.

The master suite is equipped with a new, high-end King size mattress from Sit N’ Sleep’s luxury line, memory foam pillows,  a smart TV, and French doors that open to a lovely backyard.

The newly remodeled kitchen with stunning backsplash and 36” Viking Range opens directly to a large private deck set beneath string lights. The deck wraps around a beautiful Jacaranda tree. Enjoy outdoor dining and firepit in the lovely Santa Barbara weather or soak up the sun on our lounge chairs!

The home has a new heating and Air Conditioning unit to make sure you relax at the perfect temperature. Brand new stackable LG washer and dryer on site.

All of this located in the most charming of areas- just moments to the beach, parks, shopping, fine dining, wine tasting, and less than 2 miles from Downtown Santa Barbara!

Great location on a quiet street just blocks from the coast. The house is in good order. The backyard is smallish but nicely laid out. There is parking for two cars (there is time limits for parking on the street). Did not use the hot tub or sauna. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed in this cute house for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it. The house had everything we needed and was in an amazing location. We loved how close it was to the park and the beach. It was also in a lovely neighborhood and we were able to walk to a lot of great restaurants. We would highly recommend and would love to return. Also I appreciated all the information that Lance provided before we arrived.

The house was spotless. We wanted a secluded getaway with fun amenities. Hot tub, sauna and quiet. Perfect. Easy walk to the beach. The property manager was very responsive. And it was a nice touch that they asked nothing for checkout.

Perfect 2 weeks

we spent 2 weeks at Lance’s place. The house was well appointed and the outdoor space was idyllic. The location was perfect for walking, biking and easy to downtown. We will definitely be back.

The best location!

We really enjoyed ourselves and the online pictures are exactly what it looks like. The home was cozy, clean, and perfect location! We were a quick drive to downtown and walked to the beach within minutes! The neighborhood was quiet and clean, too. We will be back!

Great Space

This was a wonderful find. I didn't realize there is no dishwasher, not a big deal. We did have to buy a new scrub brush to clean the dishes, and some of the cups were a little dirty inside and we had to wash them before using them. Overall, a really nice stay. The sauna and spa were great after a full day of activities.

Amazing Stay

Stayed here for a few days off and a few days of work, it was everything we needed. Great location and an incredible space with lots of natural light and thoughtful furniture and design touches. The backyard / patio was an oasis and I appreciated being able to park right in front of the house. Hope to be back!

Not quite what we expected

It was honestly a mix of good and not so good for us. I can break it down. The good: It does look like the photos so no surprises there. You can walk to a beach. The neighborhood is quiet and location is great. TV's were large and streaming and the AC worked well at night. The not so good: The bed is very uncomfortable. It sits only a wooden platform and squeaked very loudly when either of us moved. It was lopsided and actually moved up and down on one end and was very firm. We slept poorly. Our kid slept on the pull out couch which was comfy enough but there are no shades in the kitchen area which impacts the living area. The light blocking everywhere was minimal at best which did make it hot in the afternoon even with the AC running. A wagon is provided to pull chairs to the beach but this is not possible on the path indicated which leads to a rocky portion of Leadbetter beach. The outdoor area was a bit more rundown than the photos showed. There was no dishwasher which is concerning in a high use property. Overall we would not return but others may not be bothered by these things.

Fantastic cottage near beach

Charm, charm, charm! This recently renovated cottage was way better than even the listing and pictures described. Beautiful landscaping, unique and tasteful decor, and spotless! Plenty of high quality towels, linens and appliances. Hot tub was a big plus for my husband after his long bike rides. Property host, Lance, is responsive and very accommodating.

Great Time in Santa Barbara!

Perfect Santa Barbara Getaway

Lovely home in a convenient location that is in walking distance to the beach. Very clean with nice amenities. The bikes were so much fun and the sauna was very relaxing. We spent most of our time on the patio and in the hot tub, which is the perfect place to relax after a long hike. Lance was very communicative and accommodating. Everything was just as advertised and we felt right at home!
