“Casita Calma is in a quiet country near a reservoir and one of the best views of Santa Barbara. From the hill, we watched a rocket take off and we listened to nothing but the sound of frogs and owls at night. It's a well appointed casita with lovely lighting and extremely clean!”

“Great location near Douglas preserve and Hendry’s beach. Beautiful yard. Nice remodeling of the original house with quiet dishwasher washer/dryer away from bedrooms. Neighborhood is quiet and dark at night and nice to see stars. We encountered a couple minor issues and owner was super responsive to fix them and friendly. His sub-unit was reasonably isolated from the main house.”

The things that mattered to us and definitely met expectations: all beds and bedrooms were modern, comfortable, and definitely as pictured. Bathrooms were modern and totally functional. The kitchen was modern (ish) and functional although small. Ping pong table and hot tub were hits! Garage made unpacking so much easier. Washer/dryer worked great. Everything was clean. Things that had a very low impact on our stay, but...
