âOne of my worst hotel experiences
Delayed checkin, extremely low bed, poor sound isolation and a noisy rooftop bar, my room was never cleaned in 4 days, got stuck in the elevator and the second elevator was broken â
âReally nice hotel but canât really see why anyone would like to stay in this part of LA unless your doing business in downtown or have friends to visit there like I had. Downtown LA is not a place to be for tourists if you want to see the best of LA. I felt completely safe though on hotel premises, in my single room I had a safe for my valuables and during day time it is of course safe to walk around on the streets nearby but of course keep out/away from the Skid Row area with all the tents....
âThe property as well as the room was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The price was great for the size of the room and location. Food places were near by as well as a liquor store next door was convenient for quick snack and drink needs. I would definitely stay here again. â
âHubs and I really enjoyed our stay! Parking is convenient, I like that I have access to my vehicle. The restaurant and bar was really cool and the food and drinks were delicious! I loved the old but modern vibe! The staff and service was great! The outside is a little old and ghetto i sh but not bad!!! I will definitely come back and stay here. â
âI like the concept of the virtual lobby, except for when the access code stopped working and no one was on site. I donât have a U.S. phone number, so calling for help was very expensive, but I had no choice.
The property itself is modern and generally well-maintained, but the cleaning staff tends to slack off. They donât clean the corners of the floors, leave hair in the shower, and donât properly clean the toilet and the sink.
Itâs a shame, because the place really has potential. Great...

Ta en promenad runt campus pÄ University of Southern California, ett berömt lÀrosÀte i Los Angeles. GÄ pÄ olika sportevenemang eller njut av maten i detta omrÄde som Àr kÀnt för sina restauranger.
"Ett boende som fungerar utmÀrkt för en natt mellan tvÄ flygresor. SÄ nÀra terminalen att vi promenerade till hotellet, medan vi tog shutteln tillbaka. Shutteln gick sÄ ofta att det bara var att kliva pÄ direkt efter utcheckning.
BekvÀma sÀngar och stort nog för tvÄ personer. Hade man varit fyra hade det kÀnts trÄngt. Rent och bekvÀma sÀngar. En underlig skjutdörr till badrummet som kÀnsliga personer möjligen kan kÀnna sig obekvÀma med.
Restaurangen var okej med trevlig personal. Lite vÀl stora portioner, i synnerhet nÀr det Àr omöjligt att ta med sig rester. Kan tycka att det var lite dyrt. Motsvarande drygt tusen kronor för en pasta, en burgare, ett glas vin och ett glas vatten. "

"Very comfy beds. I stay here or the Marriott down the street regularly when visiting LA for business. Great views from top floor. Easy access to LAX and surrounding areas. Rental car required to get around. Restaurant food is not recommended and they could clean the rooms better. Quiet and comfy is what I like, plus easy parking for 40 per night."

The homeless people are nice and I never felt threatened but look ahead where you are going on the streets and donât look down into your phone.
Single room with a skyview at almost the top but a 13 floor building wonât give so much skyview at all in downtown LA.
Some reviewers here have praised the shower, I looked into my shower and thought thatâs just a regular shower head but OMG that water pressure was superb!
So I am still recommending this hotel for anyone having a purpose to visit downtown LA (not just random touristing of LA) or a romantic getaway where you want to stay in and old fashioned hotel, enjoy the rooftop bar and going by taxi to a restaurant at the evening when it is dark outside (avoid walking when it is dark!).
The tiles in the bathrooms of my single room was really beautiful and the bed just perfect.
So this hotel canât do much about its surroundings but the historic elevators could get some more love by hotel management.
