“The apartment has the most incredible views! The balcony/rooftop are such a highlight and my toddler son just loved the little rooftop pool which was such a nice relief for hot days! We parked nearby at Garage Lungarno which was just a few minute walk but do beware that to get to the street the apartment is on you have to walk up a set of stairs - this was not a problem for us but May be difficult if you have mobility problems or a ton of luggage. “This was my second place in Florence, and was our absolute favorite!!The house was beautiful and perfect for our needs. We were picking up my daughter from university and this house was close to everything we required. Need an affogato? Just around the corner!! Host was so kind to let us store our 9 pieces of luggage early. Warning: there are many stairs!! But do some squats and no problem. I plan to go back and stay here in a year or 2.”

“We had a great stay at villa Lucia, we where met by the owner who showed us around, the property has an abundance of period features and is spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained, it has a lovely pool and terrace with a mature well maintained garden. It made a great base for visits to Florence We drove about 20 mins to the centre of Prato and took a 30 minute train journey into the centre of Florence just €20 return for four of us.
