“Ett mycket välskött hotell med rimlig prisnivå och god standard.
Men det som sticker ut är serviceandan som vi fick glädjen att gynnas av, framförallt av en man som tog emot oss i receptionen och sedan gjorde vår vistelse till en upplevelse.”

Clean and fresh rooms with daily housekeeping.
24/7 reception with exceptional and amazing staff, everyone is more than helpful and always greets with a big smile, keen to give tips and advice.
Breakfast buffé and a la carté was delicious.
Location is really good with a bus stop to Bako within a two minute walk.
Best place to stay in Kuching with great value for money. Highly recommended.”
“Bra service från incheckning till utcheckning. Hotellet håller på att renoveras, detta störde inte förutom att poolområdet var stängt. Fint läge vid floden och nära till waterfront och sevärdheter. Rummen är nyrenoverade och i bra skick. Frukostbuffe med normalt utbud för området. Rekommderas. ”
“The hotel is simple but decent, located pretty close to waterfront and most places of interest are in walkable range from here. You can find bars, restaurants (the is a good breakfast restaurant right behind and the famous Ceylonese Restaurant next to it), 7-eleven. The was a slight funky smell in the shower and this could be improved.
They also let us check in early which was nice bonus for us. ”
“The hotel is newly renovated. Clean and comfortable. The front counter staff is friendly and bilingual speaking in English and Chinese. Room is small but clean. Hot water is good in bathroom. Breakfast is so so. The 5th fl door is using smart app(website) entrance with Bluetooth control. Safe and hi-tech.
2 lifts to upstairs.
Will consider to stay next time.”
“Convenient location in the heart of the city. Within walking distance to the Kuching Waterfront and the usual tourist spots. Hotel staff are generally helpful and friendly. 1 receptionist who weren't so forthcoming with making recommendations, appears a bit clueless and lacking in initiative when I asked what is there to see within walking distance around the hotel. 1 restaurant staff also failed to inform me that an item on the menu was not available and did so only after I have waited nearly...
“We loved this hotel. Very well maintained and the staff was really friendly and helpful.
The room was spatious and the beds were really comfortable. The outside pool was a big plus. Breakfast was superb with so many dishes that you could stay there forever.
We can really recommend this hotel. We stayed for four nights and we will come back!”

"Overall good but we wouldn’t come back again. Service was limited but the people were nice . "
"We stayed at Meritin hotel as part of our longer journey across Malaysia and Borneo. For a stay in Kuching we can happily recommend Meritin hotel, as it maintained a high standard in most aspects. The price was quite good in regards to its high standards.
Positives:
- Good location, close to the city centre and walking distance to the waterfront.
- Clean and fresh room! This is one of the highest standards I’ve seen in Malaysia so far in terms of room standards (cleaning wise).
- Very helpfull and friendly staff! They helped us with everything we wanted and made sure we had a good stay.
- High speed wifi
Negatives:
- Although they had breakfast available, they had quite few options. It’s not the biggest deal in world, but if you’re a big breakfast person I suggest to book without breakfast and find something better in town. Early breakfast was not available.
Overall a very good stay thanks to the helpfull and friendly staff and good standards of the rooms. Highly recommended for a stay in Kuching!
