“This property was off the beaten path of a small town that has very little to offer for travelers and we were told by locals the town was unsafe. This property had great people working at the security gate. Check in was difficult and not in line with the information given to us by the host. We were told to go to the office between 9-5 to get a parking permit but security indicated a paperwork authorization was not yet received by the host. Our check in was at 4 so we had to come back and wait...

“My wife and I ( in our 50s ) loved this place. We come to stay on the northshore to get away from the hustle bustle. This place was exactly that, country. The host and her family we extremely nice and they really made us feel at home. The property is very peaceful and we truly felt as if we were locals. They even have a super loving yellow lab that befriended me. If I could have one thing to add to make it absolutely perfect, it would be for to have air conditioning. I’m like a bear and need it...

“This home was absolutely amazing! It is in Makaha Valley which is tucked away in the mountain. We had a view of the mountain and the ocean. The house is warm and inviting. It is bright and decorated so amazing. They have so much stuff available for you, we absolutely loved our stay. The AC units were a huge plus because it was very warm.
