“I did not realise that we were staying in a plantation village, with multiple accommodation. I had made a request for two beds and, as it was a slow time of year, we got two bedrooms. Pahala is a very cute town (and currently the only one with a grocery store as the one in Naalehu was no longer as at 28 Jan 25). The people were also really friendly. The only thing to consider is the roosters. If you want to sleep in - close the windows. We didn't, as the black sand beach was all ours at sunrise,...

“I loved this property so much. Rustic, great location and kayaks & bicycles for use. Lydgate Beach is an easy walk and gorgeous, very close to airport and Poipu. I loved hearing Hawaiian music playing as I entered my gorgeous, clean,quiet, spacious room. ”

“This was a beautiful little place. We loved the forested feel and the privacy. The windows were amazing. The red light in the bathroom was a nice touch. The kitchen was very well appointed, and we loved the little outdoor space where we enjoyed coffee in the morning. The place was clean and felt safe, and check-in was straightforward. We wish we could have stayed longer. If we are back in the area, we will stay again. ”

“Wow! We absolutely loved our stay here. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The cottage is very well stocked with all you need to cook if you wish including extras of day to day supplies. It is very peaceful and comfy with multiple areas to kick back and relax. The orchard is so fun to explore and all the sounds of nature were fun to listen to day and night. The geckos are super cute. Dick is a great owner who is communicative and friendly! Will definitely be returning!!! ”
