“This was our first visit to Hawaii and we couldn't have found a better property to stay at. Secluded, quiet and well maintained. The River Cottage was so well equipped with kitchen ware, microwave, full oven, refrigerator and even Alexa for listening 🎧 to music at night on our Lanai. Paul the property manager was gracious and the cottage was immaculate. From this property, you are only five minutes by car away from Smith Family Farms where there is a 30 acre botanical garden and luau that runs...

“The host communicated from right after I confirmed our stay. She responded each time I wrote a message and was very helpful and informative. The place was a bit deep in the volcano area and we were very happy with the quiet and privacy. The house was amazing, clean, comfortable and very accommodating. The hot tub sealed the deal. “I chose this listing because it was on a flower farm and seemed in a quiet area. I never saw an actual flower farm but was immersed in the landscape. We were the only guests around and it was peaceful. It rained each night and morning we were there. The only negative for me was no air conditioning. I guess I missed that part in the listing. The host was very responsive and sent me information a month ahead. This cottage is also centrally located to many things to see and do! ”

“Iur stay at Javqui and Terrie's property was fantastic. Calm, relaxing beaches, good snorkeling and a lovely 1960s era bungalow vibe. Exactly what my spouse and i were looking for from our babymoon. If you want more modern amenities like AaC you may want to look elsewhere, but if you want to relax with a great place and great hosts this is definitely the place to come. We will absolutely be coming back in the future with friends and family.”

“This charming cottage in Hana takes one back in time to another era where life was a little less complicated. It's a good example of how a seemingly simple little home that is nicely cared for can be all one needs.The home and grounds exemplify Feng shui, in perfect alignment with neighbouring pastures and the nearby ocean. One looks forward to returning after a full day of exploring and just being.The home does have some critters like a couple geckos and the odd spider that somehow sneak in...

“We had 4 adults in the apartment. The space is small, but we didn’t spend much time indoors so it worked fine for our family group. Access to the second (large) bedroom and bath is through the first (very small) bedroom, so there’s not much privacy. Parking is available on the property but very tight. Great access to the beach just across the road, and lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc provided. Nice to have the pool on site too!”
