“Best view of the bridge in the city, both at night and during the day. If you have someone who is disabled or elderly there are about 200 steps to get to this property, so keep in mind. There's also a spiral staircase that's pretty trecherous. Great place for able-bodied adults. FYI no AC in the top loft so one of us had to sleep on the couch. Probably not a problem except in the summer. Very central location to all the sights. ”

“This property was in an excellent location - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go - but note there are lots of steep hills. Located very close to some great sites. However, it was not totally clean - there was hair on our bathroom floor and under beds were dirty. Each bedroom is on a separate floor - need to make sure you can manage lots of stairs. Very little gathering space and the kitchen was difficult to cook in (we abandoned this idea very quickly). Lots of spaces to eat...

"Fantastic and beautiful hotel in all aspects! The old building has been carefully restored in detailed perfection by the owner who is passionate about perfection of the hotel. It’s a delight to see the gentle care and effort behind the restoration. The staff is amazing and you feel taken care of all the time. The spa area is small but really nice and cozy. The restaurant and the lounge area is cozy and welcoming. The outside patron is an oasis in the city pulse. The location is perfect with just a few minutes walk to the historic part of Porto. All in all the hotel exceeds its 5 star rating by far and the people behind and the service is 10 stars. Thank you Nuno, Flavia and all of you for a fantastic stay! I will be back."
