“I recommend the place. The house is nice and well maintained. Air con is working really well and you can appreciate during summer. Swimming pool is nice with a beautiful view. Location is convenient to visit Pisa, Livorno, Lucca. You can drive a bit to reach Sienna or Firenze for a day. You can also enjoy the beach if you want with plenty of choices for italian private beaches. Enjoy Toscana.”

“Im April 2024 verbrachten wir eine wunderschöne Auszeit in diesem gepflegten Haus. Wir fanden alles so vor, wie im Inserat beschrieben. Die erste Fahrt hoch zum Haus ist schon sehr abenteuerlich, da die Straßen und Wege sehr eng sind... man wird aber mit einem traumhaften Blick auf Lucca und die umliegenden Hügel belohnt. Und spätestens nach der 3. Autofahrt hat man sich an die Anfahrt gewöhnt. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld lief problemlos. Massimo ist ein sehr herzlicher, dennoch dezenter...

“Otroligt vackert ställe, fantastisk utsikt, vi saknade ingenting. Firade min 60årsdag med att bo på Costola i 5 dagar med 18 vänner, bästa roligaste kalaset. Första dagen bokade vi pizza, gott, generöst och prisvänligt. Vi gjorde övriga måltider själva. Vi var ensamma och hade hela fastigheten för oss själva. Vill dit igen !!!”

“We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed and comfortable house that easily accommodated the six of us. Paulo (the owner) could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The local town is a short ten minute walk through the woods where there are options for eating, drinking and shopping. We had an electric car (EV) and were pleased to find charging options within walking distance. Thanks to Paulo and family for facilitating such a lovely two week stay.”

“Loved the villa. Did trips to Pisa and Lucca. Ate at Stefani across the street which was amazing!! Make reservations though. We didnt use all of the bedrooms, had so much space for us! Grilled steaks one night, we bought meat from the local butcher and they were awesome!”

“Linda & Tony are gracious hosts and know their villa's surroundings well so all tips were spot on. The villa is beautifully situated with no immediate neighbors so a relaxing stay is guaranteed for those of us looking for peace and quiet. For off-season stays its best to check carefully the restaurant opening times, but plenty good places around. Car with a higher clearance recommended, especially if venturing to smaller back roads.”

“We had such a wonderful stay at Borgo i Mulinetti. Travelling with my extended family and we could all get a house of our own. Perfekt! The view over the valley was amazing. The beds were really good and comfy. We enjoyed the pool every day:) Our children loved to watch all the small lizards running around! Sure, it was a bit of a ride up to the house, but it was so worth it! We did our shopping in at the big supermarket 30 min away. There's a small path in the woods to a nearby village. Or you...

“Propriété située au calme avec une très belle vue, proche également de Lucca et d’un supermarché. Cependant, la maison comporte très peu d’équipement pour la cuisine …pas de batteur par exemple. Et aucun ingrédient de base : sel, poivre, huile d’olive… les chambres sont de qualité très différentes, le confort de la dernière laissant à désirer, la maison est plus adéquate pour 6 personnes qu’un nombre plus élevé. Très beau jardin fleuri et bien entretenu, et piscine superbe.”

“Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Ferienhaus in guter und ruhiger Lage sehr genossen. Ein problemloser Check-in, ein guter Kontakt zur Gastgeberin, die gute Ausstattung des Hauses und der Garten, der einen schönen Auslauf für unseren Hund bot, haben dazu beigetragen. Strand, kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß, in etwa 10 Minuten, erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne noch einmal.”

“Een rustige plek te midden van diverse kleine dorpjes. De woning en bijwoning zijn ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het zwembad en de omliggende tuin is ruim en heerlijk. De woning ligt hoog in de bergen, de route ernaar toe is smal, heuvelachtig en niet altijd even makkelijk te bereiden. Hou hier rekening mee. “Ein wunderschönes Grundstück mitten zwischen Olivenbäumen mit tollem Blick über die Bucht. Das Haus ist gemütlich und man kann es auch bei etwas schlechterem Wetter gut aushalten, auch gibt es viele Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung. Franco hat ebenfalls viele Tipps parat und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben unsere kurze Woche sehr genossen, und für Hund und Kind war der große eingezäunte Garten ideal zum toben.”

“The room was big and with a great balcony situated across the street from a public beach. Breakfast was good. The pool was big and with nice temperature. However the whole place was a liitle old and my husband cut his foot on something in the pool. The staff was nice and spoke english, but didn't inform us that they had bikes that you could lend.”
