“Vi bodde en vecka i månadsskiftet juni/juli i Casa Metata precis ovanför Castiglione di Garfagnana. Husägaren Gabriele och hans trevliga familj har här skapat ett mycket charmigt, rätt nybyggt och väl fungerande hus med fullt utrustat kök. Jättefin terrass med pool och utedusch med sol hela dagen och utsikt över byarna nere i dalen och baksidan av Cararabergen. Man tar sig snabbt och lätt till de närliggande byarna för att handla eller gå på restaurang. För egen matlagning var det stora uteköket...

“The place was just as good as we hoped. Lovely outsides and an amazing view over the Apuan Alps and the valley below. Great pool area. 30-40 minutes to beautiful hikes in the mountains and only roughly 1 hour to the ocean and beaches. The host is also very hospitable and helpful. We arrived very late (23.00) due to flight delays so we was unable to buy breakfast because all stores were closed at that time.
