“The cabin was impeccably clean and thoughtfully stocked. The location was perfect for us. Surrounded by Oak woodlands above Butte Creek, peaceful and beautiful. The wildflowers were everywhere during our visit! We arrived on a very hot day, 95 degrees. Thankfully they had turned the air conditioning on so we were immediately comfortable. Butte Creek was the perfect place to lounge and cool down with friends and family. Our group likes a little space and room to roam and we were not disappointed....

“Great camping cabin. No frills but everything you need and more for a quiet relaxing stay.”

“We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter...

“The decor was unobtrusively part of the house, yet drew you in at the same time. A lot of thought went into making you feel welcome,and then immediately at home at the same time. Everything was spotless clean, an inviting aroma just as you walk in. Everything was explained in friendly detail. This was a 5 star experience. We will be back.
