“We went by car. The traditional Japanese house had been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated, making it both charming and easy to use. The kitchen and shower room were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We had a barbecue in the garden, and everything was provided for us except the ingredients—it was perfect. The ocean was just a short walk away, and at night we enjoyed the sounds of summer insects and a sky full of stars. We would love to stay here again.”

“We came here for the biking and loved this hotel. It’s not easy to get to by public transport. You’ll want a taxi. The rooms are nice and large by Japan standards. The food was amazing. You don’t pick from a menu but they serve many different kinds of food. It is seafood focused. So if you don’t like seafood it might not be the place for you. We love Japanese style food so we were amazed. Definitely a highlight of our trip. ”

“What a special experience! This is a glimpse of history with modern amenities and thoughtful staff. We had a triple room, which worked well for us as the sliding screens separated two sleeping areas. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. Dinner options are very limited in the area, so consider reserving dinner at this property.”

“18時頃チェックインしたが、その頃には湯船にお湯がはってあり、しかも凄く適温。疲れた旅人にはかなり嬉しい。 自転車レンタルが無料。近場に飯屋が少ないのでちょっとコンビニ行くとかに便利。朝食は頼んで正解だった。安くて美味しい。また、店主の気遣いが行届いてるように感じた。”
