The family really enjoyed being outdoors in the pool, grilling and also catching fish as well as watching the deer and other critters. The house is well kept and stocked with all that's needed for an enjoyable stay!”

“Our family took our 79 year old mom to see the painted churches. We all stayed at The Hideaway. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We all enjoyed spending time out on the porch just enjoying nature and family time. This place is so nice and clean and our host was very courteous and friendly. “This spacious modernized historic home has a modern kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and a lovely backyard. It’s literally a block from downtown Gonzales. We didn’t use the pool because it’s March, but it looked very inviting. I highly recommend this place if you are coming to Gonzales.”

“We loved our visit to the country! Enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning while watching the wildlife. The home has all you need so you can focus on unwinding. Beds and linens are comfortable, and the upstairs is nice for the kids to have their own space. We can’t wait to return!”
