“The traditional style of the building made for a very cool stay, the room was nice and felt spacious and the beds were comfortable to sleep on as well. I also loved the plants and neighborhood that surrounded the ryokan too. All made for a very comforting stay.”

“Wonderful location and excellent service!
My one suggestion would be to offer larger sizes in the yukatas to be more inclusive. Also check the consistency - I asked for the largest size on the first day and it was perfect, the next day they changed it to a smaller size when the room was cleaned, and when I requested the largest size again it was much smaller. I thought it was mis-labeled, but the next one was a little bigger although not entirely comfortable. So they vary a lot in actual size.”

“Hotel and service was amazing, insanely child friendly. Traveled with 18months and while this a luxury hotel and made us feel like royalty they also hade everything planned for our kid from baby yukata to baby bed at the kaiseki dinner.”

“Very clean and spacious room. A traditional Japanese feel to it! The amenities were great. They had most things you might need, including Yukatas. This together with the onsen bath made this a very relaxing stay. Finally, the staff was lovely and very helpful!”

“We loved our stay at an authentic old school ryokan. The staff was lovely and worked hard to make our stay pleasant. They have a special greeter named Milk who added to the charm. I slept well on the traditional mats. It was right by the bus stop so easy to find. The establishment has well worn aged charm that suited us. ”
