It's springtime in Ohio! Step outdoors in just about any neighborhood and you're likely to catch a whiff of the sweet aroma of the common lilac (Syringa vulagaris). The terminal panicle of the lilac is covered in numerous fragrant flowers that are most commonly, well, lilac in color. However, hybrids exist with a range of deeper purples and even a pure white.

The hot dog marketplace is Toledo is predominately owned by Tony Packo's and rightfully so. Made famous by Jamie Farr on M.A.S.H. and for having political and celebrity visitors autograph hot dog buns. But my personal fave for the go to best Coney dogs in the city? Rudy's Hotdog, Founded in 1920 by Rudy Poturedes (Uncle Rudy), Rudy's Hotdog is a chain of 6 restaurants in Toledo, Ohio. Great onion rings and fries too! #localgem
