Fjällstugor i Smaragdön

“Front desk was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the rooms are not very up to date. Bathroom sink is very difficult to use, sprays everywhere. TV very difficult to use and slow. One major issue we had was the maid barged into our room to clean before our check out time, without even bothering to knock first. Was very uncomfortable and unprofessional on her part. Other than that, we still had a decent stay, I found the beds very comfortable and appreciated the friendliness of the front...

“Price was high. Staff and hotel was great.”

“Clean room. Friendly staff. Easy check in and check out. We needed to stay an extra night and they were super helpful with that! Parking spots were also always easy to find”

“Bedbugs! .. no complimentary coffee in the rooms .. loud partier's all night .. specifically to my room there was blood splatter on the walls, we moved a mattress and there was blood stains on the box spring, damage on bathroom door both sides damage on entrance door the hinges were torn off, something crazy happened in that room and they still rent it .. it looks to me like it's under New management by new Canadians .. enough said”

“We really enjoyed our stay! Margaret was lovely and the rooms were quaint and homey. We also enjoyed walking through the gardens in the morning. Highly recommended!”

“We have stayed here for any years, at least 3 times per year. We go to Lindsay for dog shows. This is one of our favorite hotels. The property is always in good condition and clean. The staff are fabulous. did not get to use the pool this time but have in the past and love it”

“Staff moved us from upper level to lower level, which was much better for myself being with medical issues, very much. Appreciated parking was in front of the room. Thank you”

“They were easy to deal with. Good Breakfast and room.”

“Excellent all around”

“Not the best stay, some repairs and upkeep needed in the room.”

“I went as a solo traveller in fall on a work trip. I was upgraded to a room with a porch and a view. The staff were excellent. I had dinner one night in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. My room was very comfortable. I would like to go back in season and stay in a cottage.”

“It was a very clean, newly updated room. The only issue is the a/c hardly blew out cold air. The weather was not to hot so it was not a huge deal but a hot summer night would be uncomfortable. It was a very quiet area and big parking spot which was good since we had our food trailer with us.”
