Hilton Garden Inn Fredericksburg
Room was clean and comfy besides the fact that it backed to the interstate, so the noise of constant cars was quite obnoxious. Curtains are not black out, lots of early sun.

Days Inn by Wyndham Ruther Glen Kings Dominion Area
The hotel is under major renovations, so some of the "mess" can be excused. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The door lock was suspect, but the deadbolt worked. Boardwalk Hotel on Lake Anna by Kasa
Interesting concept with no room keys or front desk. A bit overpriced on weekends for the offseason, but weekday rates are fine. Very large spacious rooms. A few minor issues I could nit pick about but very nice accommodations.
