“Property dirty toilets cisterns broken,very old fashioned. Cutlery and utensils greasy and old . Totally misinterpreted online. Vrbo needs to look into this properly. Owner writes his own reviews. We left after an hour a real shame as we had just arrived in the country .please keep away you will be disappointed.”

“We had a nice stay and communications were good. Good location Shuttering made inside rather dark but overall things were good. ”

“We loved our visit of 5 days, perfect for a 3 gen family group. Biggest pluses: the swimming pool, good sized rooms, airiness, well maintained garden, position for making visits to CapeTown and surrounds (- Constantia is well placed), Athol's help and attention, good wi-fi. One room is almost a self contained flat (which was useful) One or two points to make: It is not exclusive. There are other lets on the same site (unimportant to us) The kitchen is too well stocked! It could do with losing...

“We arrived to find the property completely vacant with no furniture. It had clearly not been used for a considerable length of time and was in a state of decay. We had to scramble to find alternative accommodation . I expect a complete refund. I have pictures of the empty cottage if needed.”

“What a lovely property, we had such a relaxing stay. Maid and gardener were awesome, sorry about the braai grill, we cooked a lot of food.A great location and to have your morning coffee looking up at the mountain is beautiful. House is immaculate and so peaceful in its location. Although current building work close by can’t be helped. We loved it. ”
