“Clean little tiny home right on the creek. Megan was a fantastic host. We had a couple little problems upon initial checkin but she addressed them promptly with a smile. We stayed one week without any other problems. They even offered for us to extend our stay one day, we loved it so much we re-arranged our travel plans and accepted the extension. We will definitely be back to the Wheel Haus soon!”

The pros were the unique experience of staying in a nicely outfitted airstream trailer, the access to the river and the clubhouse and bathrooms were clean and welcoming. “The tent was in excellent condition and very comfortable. The provided bed coverings were very warm and the small propane heater on the low setting was adequate for a 40 degree night. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. The location of the campground is in a very scenic location but also next to a 2-lane highway through the Delores River Canyon, fortunately with very little traffic at the time I visited (April). “Location was not far from town, only a couple minutes drive. It was so quiet and loved watching the hummingbirds! Had a difficult time with the shower so had to skip it. Temperature dropped quick but owners let us know beforehand there were electric blankets too! Overall, we had a great stay. ”
