“The hotel was exactly as expected, clean, comfortable and good location. The breakfast was good and had many choices. The bathroom door was like a sliding barn door and stuck on its roller. I was trapped in the bathroom for a bit, and had to use a bit of force to pop the door back on its roller (room 322)”

“The food and music was amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Loved the atmosphere and cozy fire with all the wood we needed each night. We found the game room on our last night and enjoyed a few games of pool. It’s close to Ashland, lots of wineries and of course the snow is just up the hill. Our room was on the bottom floor, so it was a little colder, than upstairs rooms, we had to run our heater through the night. Lovely Winter escape!!”

“I will admit the exterior is off putting. The exterior gives it a sketchy feel but once I stepping onto the lobby/office that all changed. The staff was friendly and helpful. They explained the digital lock system and exactly where my room was. When I arrived I was informed that my room had been upgraded with no extra charges. When I went to the room is was clean and spacious. The room was beautiful and clean as a whistle. The remotes for the TV didn't work but that would have been easily...

“The room was spotless and in good nick. While it was smallish in the style of the period, everything we needed was there and very satisfying. The screen in the room was quite large and had an excellent picture. And do not miss the breakfast! Absolutely EXCELLENT fare, served by a lovely group of staff members. Same goes for housekeeping. Highly recommend this lovely old rose of a hotel!”
