“We were looking to get away for a weekend away from the kids and the images on VRBO were so cute, that even though only two nights were available we still decided to make the 5 hour drive from Milwaukee. It was definitely worth it. The weather wasn't perfect, but we really just wanted a cozy, intimate space to get away to, and this place most certainly checked all the boxes. We will return, maybe even with the kids next time. Absolutely loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.”

“We loved this cabin and enjoyed our stay. The cabin was so clean and had little extras like super fluffy towels. We especially loved the screen porch. We spent so much of our time on the porch playing games, reading, and having fun. It was also pretty warm our last evening there, and the porch provided a little breeze so it wasn’t quite as warm. “We LOVE staying here!! We have so much fun fishing, shopping, dining out. We have to see the Lumberjack show the next time we stay. It’s Fantastic!! We wish we could have stayed for a couple weeks! Such a beautiful cabin, wonderful jacuzzi! Relaxing and fishing was incredible! We caught close to 100 fish during are 5 day stay. The pontoon is a lot of fun! So relaxing & peaceful!! “This was hands down one of our most memorable and enjoyable trips north. The lake was perfect swimming depth for children and the waters were calm, not a lot of wake traffic like the larger lakes in Hayward. The cabin was beautiful and clean. Everything we needed as far as kitchen utensils and appliances, which was important to us to cook our own meals during our stay. Kathleen and Steve were wonderful hosts and great conversation. They really treated our children well, bringing out extra items...

“A super cute and cozy cabin that is about a 25 min drive to the Brikie trailhead and downtown Hayward. We came up for the Birkie trail run and were super happy with the location. The owner is really nice and the resort dog, Vincent, is such a sweetheart! The lake is beautiful and the restaurant/bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Would stay here again!”
