“The cottage was perfect for our needs and Vicki was a great host. We have a bit of a nervous doggy but Vicki kept her dogs out of the fenced area while we were there so there were no issues there. Loads of beautiful walks in the area, perfect for the doggo! The cottage has a great little kitchen with everything you need and the bedroom and bathroom are excellent.”

“Spent the weekend here with friends for my birthday. Really lovely place, large and spacious...looks better than it did in the pictures. We loved the large kitchen and conservatory. It had all the amenities one would need. The property managers were very responsive via email and text. Our only let down was that the hot tub had broken down.”

“Great accommodation in a quiet countryside setting”

“Had a four day break with parents, the cottage was spotless on arrival and well equipped. The wifi was occasionally sporadic but to be expected in a rural area. We slept well with no passing traffic and even with four adults there was ample hot water.Lots of seating and although weather was poor the outside seating area was great . Small downside was the property can be rented alongside next door(semi detached) , there is a locked interconnecting door but the noise can carry through a little .”

“This is an amazing property………Classic somerset cottage equipped with all modern conveniences. Super quiet (well a few tractors collecting the harvest!). We all slept very well. It takes 30 mins to walk into Ilminster along a country trail past Dillington Hall for those that like a good walk. About 8 mins by car. “We had a lovely week stay here! The house was well deorated and very clean with friendly & helpful owners. Perfect location for exploring both coasts. Thanks Sue, we'll definitely come again x”

“Amber Glow was a lovely bolt hole for our stay near Glastonbury. The accommodation was spotless & well equipped. The garden area was ideal for our small dog & was very secure. There was some traffic noise as the accommodation is on a main road but this didn't bother us. You are in a prime location for Glastonbury, Frome, Wells & other areas.”

“Idyllic location, beautiful cottage with everything we needed. Friendly welcome. Central location meant we were able to easily visit many places from Stonehenge to Lyme Regis and beyond.”
