“The Velvet Crab was just as pictured. What a haven. We wanted to do some different exploring on the Cape, since it's been a few years, but it was really hard to leave this sanctuary. We'd go out for a few hours and then couldn't wait to come back and just hang out. Loved the kayak, being on the pond, just everything. We'd love to come back. Tara and her people were very responsive, and we appreciated them letting us check in a few hours early. ”

“This was a waste of money. To begin with, the listing said beach access, so I spent more than I intended, thinking I could easily walk to water. There is NO beach access near this house. It was blatant false advertising, and the photos on the site were angled to look like a beach was nearby. There is no beach! I have some mobility issues and instead of a short walk, I ended up on town beaches where I had to walk a lot. This lie ruined my vacation.Also, there is a significant safety issue. ...

"We had booked a standard room that turned out to be horrible with a motel vibe next to the parking lot, poor service and the large swimming pool was closed. As we had travelled with our baby and didn’t want to find a new hotel we decided to do an upgrade on the room, that was expensive (but plus for giving us a better price than online and helping out) but a completely different experience with nice view and amazing room and suddenly the service got much better. If you stay, don’t book a standard room or plan to not spend time in the room "
