Våra rekommendationer för fritidshus i South East England

En utomhusplats med sittplatser, bestående av träbänkar och planterade växter i krukor.

1. Marine Court First-floor Double Bedroom With Wet Room

Littlehampton

“We were late booking accommodation for Goodwood so didn’t have many options without needing to remortgage the house. We choose Marine Court for price and location. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as it’s actually a firefighters charity who rent their rooms out of a weekend, and is used for firefighters rehab during the week. The room we had was big, modern and spotlessly clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful and reception was manned 24/7. There is no bar at the weekend...

Seaview

“Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. Not enough room for 4 adults, but it was perfect for my husband and myself. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady working in reception who was wonderful and very understanding when we accidentally booked the wrong date for checking out. The location was great in Seaview, walking distance to the sea with some lovely eating places...

10. Charming 3 bed Thatched cottage in rural village near Stockbridge Winchester.

Stockbridge

“We were looking for a quirky thatched cottage near Abbots Ann, Hampshire, for a few nights and this fit the bill. The beds were clean and comfy. Access was great. We were surprised that towels are not included in the rental but are 5 pounds per person. It’s a very historic cottage so expect this to match your memories from 1966 - cobwebs and all. Thoroughly enjoyable experience (especially breakfasts around the kitchen table!) but three nights with the wonky non-level floors and stairs was our...

18. Boende med 2 sovrum i Rye

Rye

“The novelty of staying in a 400 year old property, in an incredible location, right in the middle of Rye, made this the perfect place for a long weekend. Everything needed was right out the front door - museums, castle, pubs, and cafes. The actual house was well laid out with decent furnishings and clean towels, and linens. However, it was dirty in areas, like the crockery all had to be washed before use, blinds were dirty and dusty, and there was a lot of dust, dirt and dog hair around. Not...

19. Mill Barn by inspirestays.com - a cottage that sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom

North Chailey

“My husband and I enjoyed a week in Mill Barn in early June. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. We enjoyed the smart TV, bath and wonderful shower, as well as the well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of fun day trips in the area and Penny was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. I would book...

“We loved our stay at Millside it had everything you needed. We had problems with the tv when we arrived but that was soon sorted by the lovely owner. Great to have the little extras like milk & bread left for us and soap etc supplied. Great for watching the wildlife in the garden, rabbits woodpeckers and the resident hedgehog who crossed the garden every evening going foraging. Only an 8 minute walk to The Bosham Inn for Great food.”

Recensioner av topphotell i South East England

The Grand Brighton

10/10 Fantastiskt

"A wonderful hotel in a perfect sea side location. Stunning sea view from our room. Comfortable beds and room climate. A special shout out to the great members of the concierge service. Quick and nice valet parking service and helpful tips on all aspects of our stay that made every decision smooth and easy. As for constructive criticism I would suggest improving the ”full english fry” for breakfast that simply did not taste good at all. Some more options for breakfast would be nice. Also, please dear England! You are the ONLY country in the civilized world that refuse to equip your hotel- and public toilets with a toilet brush. Why? WHY…?"
