“We had a fantastic stay at "The Wakefield". Our extended family of 15 people from ages of 18 to 90 and two small dogs had a fabulous time. The location was fantastic. It is within a couple blocks of downtown Wakefield with its cute shops, art studios, WWII museum and Brinkley's ice cream and it is just a half-hour to Newport for fun day excursions, and within 10 minutes to some wonderful RI Beaches. “Booked this property for a family vacation and it did not disappoint! The house itself was wonderful and the property manager / owner were both very responsive to anything that came up. We were a bit concerned that there were only 2 bathrooms with one in the main bedroom, but it ended up being very manageable and not a problem at all. It was also really handy to have a store right across the street so we could cook daily and pick up groceries. Highly recommend staying here! ”
