“We do a girls trip to a different place every year. The house was very clean, very cute with a great view with an outside deck. The house was well equipped with everything you would need. The host was easy to contact and replied right away. We would definitely put this on our list of places to stay again. It’s a 25 minute ride to downtown Newport. ”

Check in process was simple, the house & location was perfect for us, the drive to URI was fairly short, and we were away from the crowd of Kingston. Our family was happy with the house, the downtown area and the closeness to the beach.We had a small hiccup with the kitchen, and Michael was quick to response and resolved the issue. We would book this house again, since we did not get to see the entire area due to graduation...

“The house was beautiful and as advertised. It was very clean and so spacious. My family of 7 had plenty of room for the long weekend. We loved a few local spots in the area. We recommend Greenhouse, Twin Willows, NY Bagels of RI and Gansett Wraps. The host was very responsive to all my inquiries. ”

“What a perfect place to stay, relax, and reconnect with friends and family! We were two families, with kids graduation from Roger Williams. It was the perfect house --- plenty of space and beds, big kitchen, fire pit, peace and quiet. The beds were insanely comfortable. The ground floor shower was decadent (not sure about upstairs, I didn't use it.) Plenty of dishes and cutlery for dining in. Highly recommended.”

“Very clean, newly and beautifully decorated home in a quiet, suburban neighborhood. Looks exactly like the photos posted. Beds are super comfortable, especially enjoyed the blackout shades in the super sunny bedrooms. Location is superior - quick drive to downtown Newport and mansions/cliff walk. Many good local restaurants if you prefer to stay close. The host is professional and easy to interact with. Would definitely stay again. Wish we stayed long enough to enjoy the back deck/BBQ grill....

“The location of the property is excellent. Its in a very quiet residential neighborhood and is very private with a nice outdoor patio and yard. It is possible to walk to some neighboring businesses and restaurants and its very near some main roads to easily travel to Newport, Middletown, some hiking areas or the beaches. The house itself is modernized New England and charming. The stairs are quite steep and there should be a warning for those who might have a problem. We were there for 6 nights....

“This home in Kingston is everything you could ever want in a rental on a stay with your friends or family. The home is absolutely gorgeous, the views are stunning, you are 5 minutes from the beach, my kids loved kayaking and playing spike ball on the lawn. Everything was absolutely perfect, I couldn't have asked for a more magical home to spend with my family. ”

“ The Sandbar House was perfect for our girls getaway! The check-in process was so easy. Our host and the caretaker answered all of our questions and were very easy to communicate with. The view was spectacular! We all enjoyed the screened in porch and deck. We also loved the easy access to the beach. “We had a great time at this property. There were 8 of us and plenty of space. The downstairs has a space with 2 bedrooms and a tv area that was perfect for the kids. It gave them their own space which they loved!! Would definitely recommend this home to others.The street was a little busier than we anticipated however that also meant lots of convenience. Walgreens, Dunks, ice cream shop and much more within minutes or walking distance. We had a great trip.”
