Overall great
Overall I would say we had a great time. The pool and views are unmatched in the area! Iâm going to start with the negative and end with positive. We had a scary and unfortunate situation at the beginning of our stay. After sitting on the balcony, I came inside to grab a bottle of water with my 3 year old - leaving my 5 year old sitting by himself on the balcony for what should have been 20 seconds. I tried to open the sliding door and the lock had broke and jammed, leaving me inside and my 5 year old locked outside by himself. While trying to unjam the lock, the lock fell off completely. We were in full panic mode. My husband rushed downstairs to get help and while I kept trying to figure out a way to get the door open. I was able to use the rusted broken piece to unlock the door. He was locked outside for about 10 minutes and to say we were terrified is an understatement. Maintenance came up and said it was a hazard to have the rusted lock so he took it and we had to place tape over the lock in hopes of preventing anything like this from happening again. This unfortunately happened early in our trip and impacted our comfort going out on the balconies and shutting the doors completely. Pros:They had plenty of beach toys for our 2 boys, although we had our own. The had 2-3 beach chairs, 1 pool float, enough beach towels for a family of 5. They had kiddie plates. Soap for dish/washer. They had a crockpot but not a big one, only big enough for a dip.No airfyer.
