Pensionat i Southampton

“Horrible room, dirt and grime everywhere. Sticky floor. Bed clearly just remade after previous guests or squatters, black hairs and pubes. Bed cushion had ominous stains! Slept fully clothed! No WiFi code despite being the selling point and even requesting it. Was told to let them know if arriving after 9pm or they couldn’t help with anything, which I did, but no response to wifi question! Weird selection of a couple of old forks, bowls, mug and the kettle didn’t work and smelled like someone...

“First of all, there was no staff or anyone to welcome you. We reserved a room with a private bath, and when we arrived we had been assigned a different room with no private bathroom. The shared bathroom available was filthy and the linoleum was coming off the floor. The bedroom was dirty as well and the beds were like cots, horrible mattresses. We tried to reach property owner with no avail. They never responded to any of our inquiries. Within 15 mins, we booked a room at local hotel and left...

“On going work in the property. There was no water in the property so use for anything. Staff were terrible, I have to call to get my access code and they end up giving wrong access codeI booked room 1 they put me in room 4. I called to find out why and they responded by text message and then closed work for the day.”

“Parking was good,,The room however was not as the nearby sockets near the bed did not work so I had trouble charging my phone ect,,, I did ask before I arrived there could I have a low floor & en-suite room and he said Yes,,but when I arrived there I had a top floor and No en-suite,I did complain to the staff but did it get me anywhere the answer is No……”

“Owner was super nice and very accommodating with our change of schedule (due to train issues). Place was clean. No A/C (that we were aware of), which we opened the window. Unfortunately, it was a Friday night and the people outside were a bit loud for awhile (not the owner’s fault). The only downside was we found out we were only renting a room when we arrived, not the apartment itself. Great location and close to the cruise terminals.”

“The property was run down. I The room was very basic. 2 beds and a sink. The bathroom and toilets were communal. Only one of the power outlets worked. It smelled of mildew. The kitchen areas were filthy. This is a case of you get what you pay for. It worked for the night.”

“This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. The photos do not reflect the disrepair of the place. The photos of the room showed towels and when we arrived there were no towels. We were unable to take a shower before going out to our party. Very disappointing after a very warm day. When we got into bed one side of the bed was broken and I collapsed onto the floor. Do not book this place.”
