“Absolutely perfect. I needed a quick one night stay, walking distance from Kyoto Station and it had everything I needed. The room is small but no bigger than it needs to be when you just want a bed to fall asleep on after a long journey. The owner met me at the door, welcomed me in, gave me a tour and was generally very helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stay again.”

“Small japanese guest house close to the trainstation. The street outside is very quiet, but if you walk 5 minutes you will have alot of restaurants. It is a five minute walk to the closest subway. Very cool traditional japanese rooms and they are bigger than most other rooms in japan. The service is great. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Stayed for seven nights.”

“My stay at the hostel was so close to a bunch of restaurants as well as the subway line and just a 15 minute walk to the Kyoto airport so it was really convenient! I got free towels everyday and laundry was just only 200 Yen for the laundry pods. The hostess (I'm sad I didn't get her name) was nice and kind as to show me how everything works. Japanese isn't required but it was nice for me to practice some of it with her. Definitely would stay here again when I come back to Kyoto.”
