“Had a great time staying at this property. The staff were very helpful as well as understanding when i spoke to them. The property is near several convenience stores and was walking distance to the train station as well as some major sight seeing locations. Clean and tidy and loved the bathroom in the evening for a relaxing bath. ”

“The property was a highlight of our trip to Japan. The attention to detail of craft, the items and furniture used throughout were truly special. The bath in the window was incredible, we spent the afternoon sat watching the sunset.”

“Really nice clean ryokan in a quiet part of the neighbourhood. Has everything you need. Walking distance to restaurants and the train station. It was great to experience this style of accommodation. Felt like we were really immersed in the local area and very different to the hotel experience. ”

“We loved our stay at this hotel. It was beautiful and very clean. Its a mix between old school Machiya and a hotel. It was easy to get access to and the staff was very helpful. If I would go back to Kyoto I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. 10/10 I cant recommend this enough!! ”
