âWhilst the decor was a little dated our stay was great. Staff helpful and friendly.
You can't get breakfast at The Maynard but their sister hotel on the corner was just minutes away, and you got a discount for being guests at The Maynard.
Staff/Service excellent.
The only thing i would say is my friend was unable to take a bath or shower as there was not a slip mat to assist in their safety.â

âThis hotel was very convenient for the weekend while I was at Oliver's Mount watching the racing. Prices were reasonable. My room was very clean. There is only one lift in this hotel. Breakfast was amazing every morning. Staff customer service skills were Great . This hotel does have a resturant for evening meals. They also have a bar. âHad a great stay great room arrived early and was able to get our room owner is great as are all the staff
We parked at multi story car park just across the road palm court ÂŁ12.50 for 24hrs

âThe reception employees were not service minded during check in and out. I arrived at 11 am and asked about the possibility of early check in (anytime before 15:00 even paid for). The receptionist asked for my name and once I gave it, the reply was No, it's fully booked even though:
- he didn't even check.
- a couple that he helped before me got to check in.
- when I came back in the evening and asked for a floor fan, the evening receptionist said he'd look for any available in the "unoccupied...
âGreat location, fab pool and jacuzzi, sadly steam room not open. Wonderful games room. Quality breakfast and to end the stay the best afternoon tea 'sunday roast style'. Will definitely return.â

âThe hotel was probably very nice 100 years ago. It is still charming but in need of A total renovation. The hotel is old, worn and neglected, but unfortunately the rooms are also dirty. Cobwebs and dust. Torn sheets and flies in the bathroom. It smells more or less everywhere. Unfortunately there is a lot of seagulls that pooped down the windows and they have nests outside. Nice and helpful staff in the reception, especially Barbara. The breakfast was not great. Manny who lived at the hotel...
