“We stayed early May, definitely a chill in the air but the heat pumps warmed us up after they got going. Beautiful views and hot tub were fantastic. “Drive way very steep. The steps are steep from the garage to walk to the house & slippery when wet. Parking was uneven to park on. Lighting outside the front sliding door could be brighter. Found the furniture average & the lounges well used. Beds were average to sleep on. Location good. ”

Only downsides we found were the lack of uber eats options, and how far of a walk the property was from town. The property was conveniently located only 10 minutes from a bus stop though, and with a bee card it made transport very affordable. “Overall we had a great stay at the house. Would have been nice to use the fire, but it wasn't operational, and the heat pump remote had flat batteries...but the heaters in the house made up for it and we had a warm house all the time. We had 6 adults in the house and found that very comfortable. A few others things didn't work perfectly but I passed these in to the property manager and hopefully they'll lbe sorted for the next people. Great location just out of town and not too much uphill...

“Enjoyed our stay, Beautiful views, Beautiful area. Lovely pool & spa. One thing I did not like was there was no where to store our food so had to have it all on the bench top. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels & nice big shower.”

“Amazing views of the lake and mountains. Great location , easy check in process. Updated kitchen and bathrooms but the rest of the house is a bit dated. Have to take care with the internal steps if you are staying with young children. Nothing much was available in the pantry. Would have been nice to have at least tea & coffee stocked for the guests. Overall we had a good stay.”

“We spent 5 days at the Cardrona Townhouse and had an excellent time. Location is convenient to Queenstown and Wanaka. Communication with the owner was very prompt and easy. The townhouse was very clean and beautiful too. It comfortably accommodated our 7 adults and had all the amenities needed for our stay. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay here again.”

“We had a great time in Queenstown with extended family from overseas. The walk into town was quick and everything in the house was as described. We struggled to light the gas fire one chilly morning but got there in the end, also the network to the TV upstairs didn’t work but kids were watching Netflix downstairs so that one was fine, great having wifi all over the house.”
