“We rented this house for my husband’s birthday and had a group of friends join us for the weekend. The location was perfect for hiking Old Rag as you could walk to the trailhead from the house, and the house itself was great for a group, we had plenty of space to spread out, both inside and outdoors. We especially loved the outdoor areas for hanging out after the long hike. It didn’t hurt that the surrounding area was beautiful to look at. “Very cute, Loved the porch for morning coffee. Wish there had been a second bathroom upstairs. At my age, it’s at least a couple trips down the stairs at night. Disappointing that there was no cable or whatever and internet was very slow so couldn’t really use the TV. But maybe it was just us. Didn’t really miss it that much. Would definitely stay again. During the remainder of our trip we kept saying how we miss the porch!”

“Great location to explore the Shenandoah National Forest and Shenandoah Valley for spring break. The size of the house was perfect for our two families. The kids loved their room with twin beds and many games and toys. There was a seat for the baby and a pack and play, as well.Everyone enjoyed having breakfast on the back deck. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook and enjoy meals but we were close enough to Luray to go out for any meals we wanted. It was also nice having toiletries...

“Great house in downtown Luray! We loved hanging out on the porch, both for morning coffee and happy hour. The house was very clean and had comfortable beds. It was fun to watch the trains go by, and the whistles didn’t bother us at all. It was nice to be within walking distance to restaurants. It was great to be in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. “Great location, with short walk to coffee shops downtown and short, easy drive to Shenandoah National Park. Home was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Owner was very accommodating with our change in plans.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day.”

“The house was very charming and cozy. It met all of our wants (2 bedrooms, king bed in primary, fenced in yard for dog, hot tub & fire pit, close to attractions). The host was very polite and attentive, and gave excellent recommendations for food (which were all in walking distance!). Could use a little more seating in the living room and a few more items in the kitchen (wine glasses, better skillets, sheet pans), but overall the house really has everything you need.
