In a residential area of the city centre, our newly renovated place consists of 3 stylish studios.
A vine-covered garden with a bench & hammock in the shade is a green oasis secluded from the street by orange trees. There's also a spacious modern roof patio with a fully fitted open-air kitchen, BBQ, lounge & dining area.
All this is designed with a lot of love & passion in a unique style that makes the place special.
The building is divided into two independent units, totally separated one from another: the old ground floor belongs to the neighbours, and the first, renovated, floor with its surroundings (green garden, laundry & utility room with extra bathroom and sun deck/roof terrace) belongs to you only.
Your space has its own private entrance & gate with a keypad hard lock.
The property accommodates up to 8 guests and is comprised of 3 studio apartments
A lot of attention is paid to interior design. Each apartment is designed in a different style and varies in size, so we named them after art movements: the Small ("S") is Pop Art, where Lichtenstein dominates; the Medium ("M") is Street Art by Banksy; and the Large ("L") is Split Art, as it features posters by several local graphic artists.
Each studio has fully heated floors, A/C, private bathroom, a wardrobe, working space with a table & chair, Wi-Fi, kitchen or kitchenette (each with a fridge, sink & water kettle).
It is also possible to add a baby travel cot in each of them and/or a high chair with a tray.
We provide stylish and good quality dishes, pots & silverware, along with cooking basics (extra virgin Croatian olive oil, Balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, Dalmatian herb mix, coffee, sugar). Nice bed linen, towels and even beach towels. Detergents and softener in the laundry room, all for free.
* A fully fitted OPEN-AIR KITCHEN on the ROOF TERRACE where the sun deck, lounge and dining areas are (with comfy furniture, dining table, coffee tables & lazy chairs). There you have a modern double sink, large gas stove, extra refrigerator & water kettle, all the dishes you might need (good quality pots, pans, wok, plates, bowls, silverware, glasses and cups) and easy-to-use electric BBQ.
You will also find all basic ingredients for cooking and starting a day like salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a mix of Dalmatian herbs (basil, rosemary, oregano, etc.)...
* GREEN GARDEN on the ground floor, hidden in a deep shade even during the hottest sunny day, waits for you to relax there in a hammock, bench or hanging swing... Sometimes, we come there to take things to/from the shed which is there and we keep the right to check other outside areas. LAUNDRY ROOM with detergents & softener available for free
FREE PARKING ON THE STREET AVAILABLE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE OR JUST AROUND THE CORNER OF OUR SMALL DEAD END STREET.
*** Extra feature for your BONUS DAY in Split: on the ground floor, where the garden is, we have a utility room with one more fully fitted bathroom where you can DROP-OFF your luggage FOR FREE. That way, you can spend your first or last day enjoying the city or the beach and even take a shower after/before dropping off or collecting your luggage. There you can take your BEACH TOWEL, the minute you arrive or till the last moment of your stay (one per person, free of charge).
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments. You can smoke outside: in front of the apartments, is a long balcony with a stone bench and additional chairs. There is also an accessible luscious green garden in the shade and a wide sunny patio roof terrace. At all these outside spaces there are enough options for everybody to have their own open-air corner. In all these areas you can smoke and enjoy a morning coffee or your evenings with a glass of wine.
Although the biggest apartment has cooking facilities (gas stove, but no oven), we recommend preparing your meals outside on the roof terrace, where you have an open-air kitchen with BBQ and dining table – therefore, it gives much more pleasure and comfort.
Please follow our HOUSE RULES:
- Quiet hours from midnight to 7am!!!
- The full deposit amount must be paid in cash upon your arrival, to our personnel, and it is 100% refundable if there is no major damage and no disgrace to our neighbours. Vomiting, urinating, entering their yard, splitting or throwing things to their part of the ground floor will be treated as the hardest disgrace and all the deposit will be forwarded to them with no return
THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: Because of sudden gusts of wind, special attention to the sun umbrella is necessary: you must close it whenever leaving the roof terrace, otherwise, it can break and cause serious damage or even hurt someone! If that happens, it will also result in no return of the deposit and with forwarding the money to the damaged party.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartments. You can smoke outdoors: in front of the apartments there is a balcony with a stone bench and additional chairs, there is also a spacious roof terrace and a beautiful green garden on the ground floor.
- Be aware of wet floors (epoxy flooring in the apartments, roof terrace and stairs can be very slippery when wet!).
- Please be responsible for gas and open flames, and keep the inventory safe & clean!
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:
Our personnel come every few days to water the plants and they:
- welcome you with the keys & basic information, collect the money for the deposit on your check-in (OBLIGATORY!), clean or change the sheets & towels during your stay if you request for an extra fee and come for check-out to check the place and give you back your deposit if there was no disrespect of house rules and no disgrace of our neighbours. You can also self-check-in if you prefer, but in that case, you must transfer the monly for the deposit via bank account, send your IDs and register your stay with the provided link (all that before arrival).
The deposit money will be paid back to your account in 1-5 days after you check out.
