We had a wonderful stay. House is just as pictured and described. Pool was nice and warm. We didn’t know how to access the private beach but host was very quick to respond. Plenty of room for our 2 families. Kids loved the pool and all the toys. Garage was a great kids play area. Kids wished we had more time here even though we had 4 days prior in Orlando packed with activities. Nice and relaxing part of our vacation that was much needed!

Mermaid Manor far exceeded our expectations. This 5 bedroom 4 bath VRBO offers everything you need. It is rare to find a house with 4 queen beds and a king. The hostess, Megan, was always quick with a response to our questions both before and during our stay. The walk to the beach was easy, even for our 2 and 4 year olds, and the beach felt very private. The pool was perfect for our family and the outdoor shower was a big bonus! The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The baby gates and pack-n-plays were very helpful too. The house is beautifully decorated and they really have thought of everything you might need. We even received a note from Megan about a meteor shower we might see during our stay -- and a turtle hatching alert... (we DID see baby turtles hatching!)! This was the perfect place for our family reunion. We will be back!

This Mermaid Manor Beach House was by far nothing less than exceptional. My family and I had a blast! The home has everything you need (except the living room remote lol) But it was okay. We were outside in the pool. Which has a TV outside. And at the Beach most of the time. Meagan, our Host. Was a delight to deal with. Her response time is right on time. She communicates throughout your trip. To make sure that everything is going okay. We will surely rent again. It Was A Pleasure :) and the beds were so comfortable and clean.

FANTASTIC HOUSE

This was by far the nicest cleanest VRBO house we have had the pleasure to stay in! The location to the beach was ideal, the house had everything you could want and was clean as a pin! The 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms suited our extended family to the T! The owners supplied the house with everything you could possibly need, I highly recommend this house! Megan immediately returned calls or texts, not that we had any complaints because we didn't! The house was exactly or better than described!

The home was amazing. Super clean and big enough for our entire family to enjoy their own space. An item was broken, and they replaced it the same day! Easy walking access to the beach and a quiet cul de sac to take nightly walks with the children. Loved the laundry room on the second level, made doing laundry so much easier! There were just two minor downfalls: the privacy fence did not separate the house from one of the neighbors. Seemed like they were always outside “spying” aka gardening or watching us at all times. We would always say hello and nothing was ever said back. We also said hello to the other neighbors and still nothing was said back. Not sure if they were unhappy about the home being a VRBO, or just not friendly. Second minor issue, trash. We were told not to set the cans out for Thursday pick up. The garbage company had access to the garage to remove the trash. We had little children with us who liked to play foosball in the garage and I did not like the fact that a company had access to open the garage, not knowing what time this would happen. Besides those two minor issues, fun family wedding vacation.

Awesome home!

The home was perfect for our family vacation. We had 8 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. The adults and children enjoyed the garage game room and the upstairs gameroom. The convenience of being able to see the pool from the living room was an added bonus. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. At no time did I worry about our older children walking back and to from the beach by themselves. The house was well stocked with everything you need like shampoo, laundry pods, pool towels, beach chairs, pool floats, etc. I can not say enough about how great this house was. Our family would not hesitate to book it again for a future vacation.

Celebrating Forever Friends 75th Birthdays!

The property was perfect for our group of 4 couples and the hosts were exceptional! The house and the lanai with pool gave us plenty of space to hang out in between trips to the beach and St Augustine. It was very clean, the owners very attentive and a great location. Highly recommend!

Mermaid manor deserves it’s 5 star rating

I would give it even more than 5 stars if I could. Beautifully appointed and thoughtfully stocked. Immaculate. The hosts left us bottled water in the fridge and chocolates and coffee in the kitchen. So welcome after a long drive. The pool was great and the games in the garage kept the teenagers happy. So nice to have baby gates and dishes supplied. It made for an easy week with our 3 year old. Rooms are nice and spacious and plenty of room for the 7 of us covering 3 generations. Very highly recommend!

WOW!!

They literally thought of everything. The decor was perfect, it was SO CLEAN. There were things to do in the house like games/ping pong/darts and TV's all over. The screened in porch made the pool experience bug-free which was awesome. I loved the lounge chairs that were in the pool. The furniture in the patio area and the living areas was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and their decor was just gorgeous. The showers/tubs had great water temperature and pressure. The beach was beautiful and within walking distance. It wasn't crowded the entire time we were there. The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals. I can't say enough about this place. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I hardly wanted to leave the house because it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much for this lovely week of memories.

Excellent Family Destination

We stayed in this home for our bi-annual family vacation- 7 adults, and a 2 and 1 year old. There was an abundance of space for everyone and the amenities were fantastic, especially for the littles. The high chair, baby gates, and baby dishes were especially helpful.The home was very clean, offered plenty of towels and dishes, and the location was quiet and convenient, especially so close to the ocean.Our favorite amenity was the pool! We created many happy memories playing or lounging in the pool.The only issue was on check-in. We arrived around 2:00am and had issues using the keypad to unlock the door. It finally opened, thankfully, and the overseers did respond eventually, but since it was the middle of the night it could have played out differently had the door not opened after our many attempts. Other than that, though, we have no complaints! We loved this home!!

Beautiful home with heated pool!

Our family with four adult children, spouse, girlfriend and one grandchild, thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful like-new home. There was space for everyone to have a private room and bath, multiple living areas, including a nice outdoor sitting area with TV near the heated pool. We took just a short walk to the beach for fun in the sand and then we could come back and enjoy sitting by the pool while fixing dinner on the Blackstone grill. Appreciated having amenities for our one-year-old grandson, crib and highchair and baby gates as well as kitchen ware for baby. Help to make the long distance trip a lot easier without having to haul things for the baby. Property manager very responsive to questions and needs. Not far from town and shopping and quiet beach area. Highly recommend!

Couldn't be better

Other than the weather (which was mostly dreary) our multi generational family had an outstanding stay at this property. It was beautifully laid out for several family units to have both privacy and togetherness, plenty of open space for the toddlers to run around, a great game area to keep them distracted (and us busy) and an enclosed pool area which made it possible to both enjoy the water and keep an eye on kids. Kitchen was more than fully equipped. Host was easily accessible and accommodated our special requests (upping the pool temp, flexibility in departure). We would for sure return. All in all an outstanding experience. Thanks.

Absolutely perfect

Everything was as advertised and the property manager was in constant communication regarding any issues (we didn't have any, but they texted daily anyway). We will definitely come back again. Highly recommend this for families. We were a family of 11 (9 adults and 2 teenage girls) and there was tons of space for everyone to be together and have their own quiet space.

Perfect Family Friendly Home

Our family had a great visit! The home was very well appointed. I so appreciated having access to so many amenities and appliances to make our stay even more comfortable. We had plenty of space for our family of six and had our in-laws (2 adults, 13yo, 10yo) stay a few days with us as well and everyone had plenty of room. Close walk to the beach and warm pool made for some tired kiddos in the evenings. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful family vacation

Our vacation at Mermaid Manor was wonderful. We had four generations of our family on this vacation. Great grandpa wanted to take quiet naps and our 2 year old great grand daughter wanted to stay in the pool all day. The layout of the house allowed for everyone to have their own space- inside and out. The house has EVERYTHING you can think of needing while on vacation. We had 4 children with us (4 months, 23 months, 4yo and 7yo). The stairs have very nice baby gates provided (built in). The kitchen was stocked with every utensil you would need for any type of food preparation. The decor was beautiful. We've rented beach houses before and they were just like any other house. With Mermaid Manor you knew you were at the beach! Every bedroom had a theme - starfish, turtle, seahorse....and a bathroom to match. There were plenty of towels/linens/pool towels and a very nice, well stocked laundry room to wash clothes as needed. This is always a plus with kids! We enjoyed being such a short walk from a very private, quiet beach. It was nice to be able to relax without a crowd like other beaches. The host even provides a wagon and beach chairs. The garage has a ping pong and foosball table. Unfortunately, it was too hot to be in the garage- even at night. The house is close to everything - a public pier to walk out on or do some fishing, shopping and a variety of tours and restaurants. Honestly, we could not have picked a better place than Mermaid Manor with access to activities.
