“This was our first visit to St. Augustine. The location of this home was key to a very enjoyable stay! Our days were spent roaming Anastasia Island; beach, lighthouse, biking and kayaking. In the early evenings we would walk across the Bridge of Lions to explore the downtown and have dinner! The walk, and views, enhanced our stay! ““Charming” was so cute and quaint. Perfect for what we needed. We were here to visit St. Augustine so all we needed was a place to relax a little, shower and sleep. Coffee on the porch in the morning was so enjoyable, too. For us, this location was perfect. So close to everything, yet not in the middle of “all the mayhem”. “Spacious apartment with beautiful floor plan and tall ceilings but their height creates steep tall wooden outdoor stairs in rear of building for entry. There is a cozy outdoor deck with a distant view of the lake. It is extremely quiet in great area just a few blocks from historic area.”

Although this is not one of those destinations you would sit at in the unit and watch TV, you need to figure out a way to mount the TV on the wall between the bathroom and kitchen above carbon monoxide unit. “The interior of the property was very nice. Loved the kitchen. However, the exterior was a mess and unfinished looking. Also, could hear the neighbor upstairs, very loudly, and the dog too. It felt invasive as we were going for quiet privacy.”

“This was such a nice place to stay. Photos are an accurate representation of what you’ll experience in terms of aesthetics. A few things that we noticed that made our stay enjoyable: 1. The basic functionality of the place is great. A/C, bathroom fans, water pressure are all excellent. 2. Kitchen is well equipped. We cook a lot, and our expectations weren’t especially high.
