“Really nice hotel but can’t really see why anyone would like to stay in this part of LA unless your doing business in downtown or have friends to visit there like I had. Downtown LA is not a place to be for tourists if you want to see the best of LA. I felt completely safe though on hotel premises, in my single room I had a safe for my valuables and during day time it is of course safe to walk around on the streets nearby but of course keep out/away from the Skid Row area with all the tents....

“Smooth with parking under the hotel. It feels like a rough neighborhood and it doesn’t feel safe to walk in the surroundings. But well inside the hotel, the staff is caretaking and friendly. The ice machine drove my brother nuts in the middle of the night and they have to do something about the carpet in the hallway because it smells like cat*iss. The breakfast needs som cheese and ham and perhaps som greens to comply with the term “continental breakfast””

“The motel is close to many restaurants, bars & clubs in China Town. We were there for a concert in downtown & stayed the night to enjoy the flower market & brunch Sunday morning. Parking was reasonable at $10 and staff was helpful & friendly. Only issue was the room was kinda small. Especially for a rm with no tables or luggage rack.”
