The Lookout (part of our budget range) is a 3-storey fisherman's cottage which captures plenty of sunshine in the heart of Downalong. Just seconds from the Island, Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches, the harbour front and Fore Street are a pleasant 2 minute walk away. The sunny courtyard at the front is shared with Lower Deck, which forms the other half of the property, for access to clothes line, dustbin and beach gear storage.
Ground Floor

Bedroom 2. Twin beds with bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
First Floor
Bathroom. Wash basin, bath with shower over, WC, heated towel rail, fan heater and shaver point.

Sitting room. Comfortable seating including a double bed settee, TV/VCR, coal effect fire and panel heater. This room gets plenty of afternoon sun.

Kitchen. Plenty of sun in the morning. Electric cooker, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. Large table, bench and seating for 5. Access to the second floor is from the kitchen.
Second Floor
Bedroom 1. Double bed, chest of drawers, electric heater. Very light and airy attic room with lovely views from both windows on either side. Please note this attic room has reduced ceiling height as is under the eaves.

Digitally managed electric heating in all rooms which is cosy and comfortable even in the depths of winter.

For those interested in walking, this property, together with Lower Deck, is within yards of the South West Coastal Path. There is a range of maps, walking and nature books. The properties can be combined for larger groups of 8/9 to benefit from 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms.
