Wonderful 3 bed/2 bath Cottage in Glynn Haven

Welcome to the Blue Pelican.

Outdoor entertaining and a quiet, convenient location await you! A private, covered lanai invites you and your family to enjoy everything from morning coffee to a light lunch to evening drinks while listening to your favorite music on the outdoor Bluetooth speakers.

The open living and dining area is bathed in natural light and has a fully equipped kitchen with a 3 seat island. The dining table has room for six. Enjoy the living room, which seems completely open as it is surrounded by windows, but an outside fence covered in jasmine lends complete privacy.

Downstairs, you'll find 2 bedrooms - one queen and one full, along with one full bath downstairs. Upstairs is the master king bedroom with en-suite bath. Hardwood floors, upgraded kitchen and baths and new décor make for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

The Blue Pelican is in a perfect location for easy on/off island access. Several delightful restaurants and cafes are within a few blocks of the home. Harris Teeter, a variety of shops and a movie theater are less than a mile away. Play a round of golf at the Sea Palms golf course, also less than a mile away. Drive to the beach (approximately 4 miles away) down Frederica Road, under a beautiful live oak and Spanish moss canopy, or start a leisurely horseback ride just three miles away to the north. The village and pier with dining and shopping opportunities are also just minutes away.

The Blue Pelican, located in Glynn Haven Subdivision, is your perfect beach get-away inviting you to make this your home away from home! Reserve now for the break from the mundane you deserve.

The house is beautiful. Well stocked and clean. It could have used a handicap bar in the bathroom and the patio was a little uneven for a walker otherwise it was great.

Haven of Relaxation

The Blue Pelican is by far the most accommodating and comfortable property we’ve ever stayed at on the island. This was our second time staying here, and two weeks just wasn’t enough. The home is spacious and has everything you could possibly need to feel the comforts of home. The outdoor space is the real gem!

The place exceeded my expectations with the comfortable beautiful interior as well as the fun outdoor areas to relax and enjoy family/friends. Great kitchen as well to cook everything we needed. Only thing I wish I had known was no shampoo or conditioner and I would have brought some. There are plenty of places nearby to purchase just wasn't on my initial list for first night of showers. You will need a car to get to the beaches etc. but I think that is the case anywhere on the island. If in the area I would have no hesitation to stay again.

We were provided with lots of towels and enough paper products to last three days. All four members of our group commented on how comfortable the beds were. My only suggestion to the owners would be to add mirrors to the two downstairs bedrooms. The only mirror was the one in the shared bathroom. Overall it was an awesome space and I would definitely rent again.

Unit was in good shape and had room for everyone to spread out. The property is in a decent residential neighborhood. The neighboring homes were very close, but it still felt private. We had no issues with any of the neighbors. The first night the living room tv would not work and the upstairs ac unit did not work correctly. The rental service took care of it the next day and they were fine the rest of our stay. Towels and linens were a little worn, so you may want to bring your own soaps and towels if that matters. Overall a nice property and the rental company was very responsive.

The house is beautifully furnished and close to grocery stores and restaurants. We loved the swing on the the lanai! Even though it was late June and hot, the fans outside made quite comfortable to sit and read!!

I loved the open layout with the Livingroom, Dining Room and Kitchen being one incredibly large room. The master en suite on the second floor was lovely with an enormous walk in closet. The house was immaculate with everything you could need. The only reason I gave 4 stars to the property's general condition is that the grounds needed some upkeep. The unusual frost had killed many of the plants which left them looking unsightly.
