St Simons Classic Beach Cottage

Circa 1930 Beach Bungalow Beläget i hjärtat av Village Historic Preservation District. Helt renoverat till studs. Om du letar efter den perfekta charmiga kuststugan, kolla inte längre. Från den pittoreska verandaen till den avkopplande bakre verandaen har denna stuga renoverats med all detaljer i åtanke. Bekvämt beläget inom gångavstånd till stranden, byområdet, restauranger, shopping, st. Simons fyr och museum och Fun Zone. Huvudstugan erbjuder en öppen planlösning som inkluderar mysigt vardagsrum med 50 tums HD-TV, äta i matsalen, kockens kök med frukostbar, skräddarsydda bänkskivor och toppen av linjen apparater. Dessutom finns en rymlig master svit med stort badrum och klädkammare. Ett halvt bad ligger bekvämt mellan köket och tvättstugan i full storlek.
Den stora skärmen veranda längs baksidan av stugan öppnar till en härlig innergård där den fristående gäst stuga ligger.

This is our 2nd time at this house so that tells you how much we love it. The location is perfect. EASY walk to the shops and restaurants and extremely comfortable. The bed is ridiculously comfortable. The space is used so well. Decor 10/10 There is nothing we needed that wasn’t there for us. Clean and beautiful. So quiet in the house too. You don’t hear any street noise. The little detached 1/1 is perfect for an older child or even a mother in law or friend. Love this place! Cannot say enough about it!

My only hang up was the condition of the washing machine. It had a lot of mold in it, so I didn’t think it was safe to use. However, it’s understandable given that this is a rental house and no one lives here, so it’s not getting regular use. We alerted them to it when we left, so hopefully they rectify the issue. Other than that, no complaints, it was lovely.

Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and an easy and shady walk to the beach. There is a charcoal grill and a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook any meals. The screened porch is large and has 2 ceiling fans. Plenty of towels in the bathroom is a big plus! Beautifully decorated inside and out. The outside shower at the guest cottage was great when you get back from a long day at the beach. But rinsing off a dog with just a shower is a little difficult. A water hose at the faucet would be a great addition! Would definitely stay here again.

Great Little Place with Terrific Location

We loved our stay in Saint Simons, and this little house was one of many reasons why. It was perfect for my wife and I in the main house, and the little cabin in the back was great for my boys (10 and 12) too. They often said things like, “Hey dad, after dinner, do you wanna come over to our place?” The addition out back gave the boys a little bit of freedom, but they were also a quick few steps away for a check in. The main house itself is beautiful and well designed. So many convenient little additions in the design (built in and dimmable reading lights in the master bedroom were great). The bed was also very comfortable, and we spent lots of time in the screened in back porch. And then there’s the location. It’s prime. Everything downtown is an easy walk away. We’d walk to dinner, to get ice cream, or just to look at the beautiful houses and live oaks. Thanks for making this a memorable and easy stay for us, and we hope to make it back soon!
