“I planned a lake get away for my boyfriend’s birthday with a few of our friends. The place is also pet friendly which was a great bonus! The house itself was beautiful with an awesome view. The owners have definitely put in a lot of thought into the decor/comfort and all of the nice add ons to make your stay worthwhile like extra propane tanks and wood logs for the fireplace and fire pit. “I stayed at the cottage with a group of friends. We were attending a festival 3 miles away. The cottage was an oasis of relaxation away from the heat. It was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was the perfect size for the 5 of us in our group. I enjoyed early morning walks in the rural setting. I saw a heron by the nearby creek every morning. We can’t wait to return next year!”

“Our family had a great time at the Heron's Cove Cottage, this was our second visit. The house is perfect for our family of 6, clean and has a beautiful view of the Sandbar. The Sandbar Marina and Grill is close by and the house is close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend. ”

“This rental was just as described. It was very cute clean and cozy. The couple hosting the rental were very friendly and we enjoyed visiting the farm. Kevin, Hamlet and the dogs were fantastic. We came to town for a fundraiser and for the NASCAR race. We certainly could have stayed closer to Concord but this was a lovely place to stay and really not too far away. “This house was extremely clean, furnishings all seemed new, bed was super comfy. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful but really close to town, shopping, restaurants, etc. Great experience with no issues at all, will definitely stay here again and would recommend highly.”
